In Nasimi district of Baku, violations of traffic rules by scooter and bicycle riders have been recorded.
According to information from the Intelligent Transport Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident took place on Fuzuli Street. It was noted that individuals operating scooters and bicycles were moving in the opposite direction in the bus lane and on the roadway.
It was stated that such violations cause conditions for accidents.
The Center emphasized that according to Article 46-1 of the "Traffic Rules" Law, the movement of small electric vehicles is only allowed in designated areas and in accordance with rules.
Also, it is prohibited to move these vehicles in lanes other than the right edge lane on public roads, as well as to use an alternative road when there is a bicycle lane.
The organization called on drivers and other road users to comply with traffic rules and warned that otherwise accidents and severe consequences can occur.
