On July 23, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil under the “AzəriLayt” brand was $100.56.
Medianews.az reports that this figure is $35 higher than what was anticipated in Azerbaijan’s 2026 budget.
In the 2026 budget, the price per barrel of oil was taken as $65.
“AzəriLayt” started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, March at $79.60, April at $132.35, May at $122.26, June at $104.58, and July at $75.34.
The oil market has been fluctuating since February 28 due to tensions around Iran.
The international coalition of exporters has set Azerbaijan’s daily crude oil production quota at 551,000 barrels.
In the first five months of 2026, Azerbaijan produced 11 million tons of oil including condensate, and in half a year, exported crude oil and crude oil products worth $6.2 billion abroad.
