The latest images of the grave belonging to the famous actor Tuncel Kurtiz have sparked discussions.
Medianews.az, citing BAKU.WS, reports that actor Nail Kırmızıgül, who visited the grave, protested the situation and made a strong statement on social media.
In his post, Kırmızıgül opposed the transformation of the grave into a non-religious pilgrimage site:
"They have turned his grave into a secular tomb (a non-religious pilgrimage site). If Tuncel Kurtiz had known this would happen, he would have said 'don't do it' in his will."
This harsh criticism quickly caused a wide resonance on social media.
It has opened up various debates regarding the approach to the memory of the artist.
Recall that Tuncel Kurtiz passed away on July 27, 2013.
