The Spanish government has recalled its ambassador in Israel from his post.
According to Medianews.az, the decision to dismiss the ambassador was approved today, and the embassy will now be temporarily managed by a chargé d'affaires.
The leftist government led by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez considered the operations of the US and Israel against Iran "dangerous and illegal" and banned the use of US aircraft from military bases in southern Spain.
US President Donald Trump stated on March 3 that he might impose a trade embargo against Spain.
