Finnish intelligence was aware of Ukraine's drone attack on Saint Petersburg carried out the day before yesterday.
This information was revealed by Finland's Defense Minister Antti Hakkanen.
He also noted that they are ready to shoot down unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that may violate Finland's airspace.
"I do not want to go into details about which intelligence systems and other methods we use, but we had information about this (drone attack – ed.) and were sufficiently prepared," the minister said.
Hakkanen added that the navy was also put on combat readiness to shoot down drones that might violate the country's airspace.
Recall that the day before yesterday, the Ukrainian army attacked the Russian city of Saint Petersburg with dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result, a large fire was recorded at an oil terminal in the city. It is reported that several people were injured. / “Qafqazinfo”
