The number of billionaires in the world has reached a record level

The number of billionaires worldwide has reached a record high.

Trend reports that this was stated in the "Hurun Global Rich List" ranking published by the "Hurun Report." According to the report, the growth of the stock market and the development of artificial intelligence technologies have led to the number of billionaires reaching a record level. China has been identified as the country with the most billionaires compared to other countries.

According to the report, China has regained its leadership in the world by surpassing the US in the number of billionaires.

According to the "South China Morning Post" newspaper, since the publication of the previous report, the number of billionaires in China has increased by 287 people, fully compensating for the losses that occurred in the last three years.

Artificial intelligence has led to the emergence of two new billionaires in China: Yan Tsjuntsze from the "MiniMax" company with a fortune of $3.6 billion, and Lyu Debin from the "Knowledge Atlas Technology JSC" company (more commonly known as "Zhipu") with a fortune of $1.2 billion.

Elon Musk ranked first on the list with a fortune of $792 billion. He is followed by Jeff Bezos with $300 billion and Larry Page with $281 billion. Musk is the first person whose fortune has exceeded $700 billion.

The US ranks second with 1,000 billionaires (130 more than the previous year). India comes third with 308 billionaires, which is 24 more than the previous year. Germany, with 171 billionaires, has surpassed the United Kingdom to rise to fourth place.

Globally, 114 billionaires are associated with companies operating in the field of artificial intelligence. Forty-six of them are included in this category for the first time, making artificial intelligence the biggest source of new billionaires.

In the ranking of cities, New York remains the world capital of billionaires with 146 billionaires. Shenzhen increased the number of billionaires by 47, reaching 132, and rose to second place. It is followed by Shanghai, Beijing, and London.
