Excluding Keir Starmer, who announced his resignation from the position of prime minister in 2026 and is currently preparing to hand over his post, there are eight former prime ministers living in Britain.

The oldest among them is John Major - who served as prime minister from 1990 to 1997 and is 83 years old.

Tony Blair, prime minister from 1997 to 2007, is 73 years old.
