In some areas of Baku, drinking water has not been supplied to houses for several days. In many areas, the volume of water has decreased.
Medianews.az reports that the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ASWRA) has issued a statement regarding the issue.
The statement says that technical work is being carried out to increase the amount of water received from reservoirs and to enhance the efficiency of water purification plants.
ASWRA states that due to this, the volume of water supplied in the capital has been reduced, and claims that in various districts, there have only been 2-3 hour reductions in water supply times.
ASWRA apologizes to subscribers for the interruptions in water supply.
