Azerbaijani teams admitted to UEFA club tournaments for the 2026-2027 season are in the second qualifying round.
Medianews.az reports that in the Champions League, “Sabah”’s opponent is KuPS (Finland).
If they advance to the third round, “Sabah” will face either “Aarhus” (Denmark) or “Lech” (Poland).
If eliminated from the Europa League, “Sabah” will face either “Levski” (Bulgaria) or “Universitatea” (Craiova, Romania).
“Qarabağ” has been drawn against CSKA (Bulgaria) in the Europa League.
The possible opponent in the third round is either “Sheriff” (Moldova) or “Maccabi” (Tel Aviv, Israel).
If eliminated into the Conference League, “Qarabağ” will face either “Dinamo” (Ukraine) or PAOK (Greece).
In the Conference League, “Zirə”’s opponent is “Paide” (Estonia), and “Neftçi”’s opponent is “Dinamo” (Minsk, Belarus).
If they advance, “Zirə” will face either “Santa Coloma” (Andorra) or “Rapid” (Austria), and “Neftçi” will face either “Željezničar” (Serbia) or “Braga” (Portugal).
Each of the three tournaments consists of four qualifying rounds. 36 teams will participate in the league stages; the top 8 teams will advance to the round of 16, and the teams ranked 9th to 24th will enter the round of 32.
