On May 9th, he had taken bread with him to Moscow.

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko gifted his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin a unique historical bread baked with special recipes from the World War II period during his visit to Moscow on May 9 Victory Day.

Medianews.az reports that the "RIA Novosti" agency released this information.

Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted receiving such a gift during his speech at the meeting of the Council for the Support of the Languages of the Peoples of Russia and the Implementation of State Policy:

"The breads brought by Lukashenko were specially prepared based on military recipes from Stalingrad, Leningrad, and other former USSR battle regions. It is very interesting for me to taste the Stalingrad and Moscow breads of that period."

It is worth noting that the two country leaders have previously exchanged similar but different gifts multiple times.(Qafqazinfo)
