The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the "Rules for Issuing Certificates, Licenses, or Certificates to Aviation Personnel and Recognition of Similar Documents Issued in Other States," approved by the decision dated April 11, 2025.
Medianews.az reports that in this regard, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a new decision.
According to the decision, based on the applicant's request, the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has the authority to convert the certificate issued by another member state into a certificate belonging to the aviation personnel of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the Convention, Annex 1 to the Convention, and the document "Doc 9379, a guide to procedures for establishing and managing the certification system of the state's aviation personnel."
During the conversion process, the Agency has the right to require the applicant to undergo additional training or examinations suitable to their existing certificate.
