Vagif Javadov a position was given

A new appointment has been made in the coaching staff of the Azerbaijan national team composed of footballers under 20 years old. Medianews.az reports citing Oxu.Az that according to the decision, Vagif Javadov has been appointed as the assistant coach of the U-20 team. It should be noted that during his football career, Vagif Javadov played for clubs such as "Qarabağ", "Bakı", "Keşlə" (currently "Shamakhi"), "Xəzər Lənkəran", "Qəbələ", "Sumqayıt", and AZAL in our country. He experienced a legionnaire life playing abroad for "Twente" in the Netherlands, "Volga" in Russia, and "Gaziantep BB" and "Boluspor" in Turkey. He appeared in 58 matches for the Azerbaijan national team between 2006 and 2014, scoring 9 goals. Vagif Javadov, who began coaching in 2020, worked at "Sumqayıt" and briefly at Kazakhstan's "Turan" club. The specialist, who started coaching as an assistant with "Sumqayıt's" U-19 team, later worked as head coach of "Sumqayıt-2." He was the head coach of "Sumqayıt's" main team in the second half of the 2024/2025 season.
