Harsh warning from Trump to Iran: "We can deliver a blow 20 times stronger"

U.S. President Donald Trump has made a new harsh statement regarding Iran.

According to Medianews.az, he said that if Iran attempts to stop oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. will respond with much tougher military action.

According to Trump, if such a step is taken, the U.S. could strike targets in Iran that can be easily destroyed. He noted that Washington is ready to respond 20 times more harshly than the attacks carried out so far.

The U.S. president also emphasized that keeping the Strait of Hormuz open is especially important for countries like China, which use this route extensively.

The Strait of Hormuz, located between the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, is considered a strategic passage for the global energy market. Approximately one-fifth of the world's oil supply is transported through this waterway. Due to increasing military tension in the region, it has been reported that there have been certain delays in tanker movements in recent days.

According to experts, the closure of the strait or the halt of oil shipments could lead to a sharp increase in prices on the global energy market.

It should be recalled that Trump previously stated that the conflict in the Middle East had largely ended. However, the recent statement regarding Iran shows that tensions in the region still continue.
