The names of several villages in the Quba district are being changed.
Medianews.az reports that this is reflected in the draft law "On changing the names of some territorial units of the Quba district," which was discussed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis held today.
According to the draft, the village of Vladimirovka within the administrative-territorial unit of Vladimirovka village will be renamed Elbir village, and the Vladimirovka village administrative-territorial unit will be considered as the Elbir village administrative-territorial unit.
The village of Alekseyevka within the administrative-territorial unit of Alekseyevka village will be renamed Chinarly village, the village of Timiryazev will be renamed Bahrali village, and the Alekseyevka village administrative-territorial unit will be considered as the Chinarly village administrative-territorial unit.
After discussions, the matter was put to a vote and approved at the first reading.
