The doors opened: Armenians crossed the Turkish border

Footage showing Armenian business representatives crossing the "Margara" border crossing point located on the Armenia–Turkey border has been released.

Medianews.az reports that Turkish media outlets have released information and video footage regarding this. According to the information, the border crossing point, which had been closed for a long time, was opened specifically for this visit. Business representatives from Armenia entered Turkish territory via this crossing.

It should be noted that the "Margara" border crossing point was brought to operational readiness as early as December 2023. It was planned that, in the initial phase, the crossing point would be open to citizens of third countries.

However, since that time, only officials and rescuers providing aid after the earthquake in Turkey have used the crossing point.
