The woman was connected to an automated system that checks the condition of vulnerable individuals, and her health status was checked daily. However, on April 9, she did not answer the calls. The dispatcher contacted her daughter, who stated that her mother was at home. When the police arrived at the house, the woman did not respond to phone calls or door signals. Her car was in the garage, and neighbors confirmed that the woman had not left the house.
The police entered the house, considering the worst-case scenarios. However, the woman was found to be in perfect health, playing video games. She admitted that she was so addicted to the game that she did not hear the calls.
