According to Medianews.az, he stated that oil prices will continue to rise until the war in the Middle East ends, and this will seriously impact the global economy.
Ghalibaf noted that if the war continues in this manner, soon it will be impossible to either produce or sell oil.
After the US and Israel attacked Iran on February 28, prices in the world energy markets rose rapidly. The price of oil reached its highest level since 2023.
On March 6, the price of one barrel of Brent crude oil increased by 8.5% to $92.69. Just one week earlier, this indicator was $70. At the same time, the price of crude oil, considered a key benchmark in the US, also rose by 12.2% to $90.90 per barrel.
