Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has requested not to be compared to Germany’s former foreign minister Annalena Baerbock.
Publika.az reports that the diplomat made a post regarding this on her "Telegram" channel.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson commented on a recent interview with Swiss lawyer Peter Henseler. In response to another question, Henseler emphasized the significant difference today between Russian and German diplomats, primarily in terms of their education.
"Russian diplomats speak several languages, but Ms. Baerbock... She can’t even speak properly in her native language," Henseler stated.
He later added that for this reason, European politics is built solely on conformity. Responding to these words, Zakharova requested not to be compared to Baerbock, saying that such a comparison is incorrect.
Adding a laughing emoji, Zakharova wrote: "I would kindly ask you not to make comparisons."
