YouTube made this feature accessible to everyone.

"YouTube" has updated its artificial intelligence-based automatic dubbing feature that allows videos to be watched in various languages. This feature has been made available to all users with support for 27 languages.

"Qafqazinfo" reports that this technology was first tested in 2024 with a limited number of content creators and allows videos to be watched in languages other than the original language of the videos.

With this feature, content creators can increase the discovery rate of their videos, and those who do not want to use it can completely disable the feature.

The platform stated in December that more than six million viewers watch AI-dubbed content daily and launched the "Expressive Speech" feature to eliminate the problem of robotic sounding voices.

This innovation, offered in eight languages including English and Spanish, aims to create a more natural experience by preserving the speaker's tone and emotion.

Users can select their preferred languages for dubbing, captions, and descriptions through the "Selected languages" section in the settings. Additionally, the company continues to work on the "Lip Synchronization" feature that matches the speaker's lip movements with the translated voice.

To use the feature, log into your "YouTube Studio" account from a computer, go to the "Settings" section from the left menu, then select "Advanced." Activate the "Allow automatic dubbing" option. If you want to review the dubbings before they are published, also check the "Manually review dubbings before publishing" option. For the review, select either "All languages" or "Only experimental languages." Lastly, do not forget to save the changes.
