Tehran has informed Moscow and Beijing about the details and progress of the negotiations between the US and Iran on the nuclear program.
Publika.az reports that this was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
One day earlier, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Qaribabadi wrote on his social media account that after the negotiations held with the US in Oman, meetings were conducted with the Chinese and Russian ambassadors. During the meeting, detailed information about the progress of the negotiations was provided.
The IRNA agency, quoting the minister, stated: "We continue our consultations with China and Russia. They are our strategic partners and friendly countries. My deputy met with the Chinese and Russian ambassadors yesterday and presented to them the details of the negotiations. Our consultations will continue."
It is noted that this statement coincides with a few days after the talks between the US and Iranian delegations held in the city of Muscat, Oman. The meeting, facilitated by Oman, was the first since the open phase of the Iran-Israel conflict in June 2025 caused a hiatus. Until then, the parties had held five rounds of consultations.
