The National Statistics Service of Georgia has published an inflation report.
Medianews.az reports that according to the official statement, consumer prices increased by 4.8 percent compared to the first month of 2025. It is indicated that food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 10.6 percent, healthcare services by 8.3 percent, hotel and public catering services by 8.1 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 3.5 percent, and education by 2.2 percent.
It is reported that telecommunication services decreased by 4.6 percent, recreation and cultural services by 2.5 percent, clothing and footwear by 1.8 percent, furniture and household items by 0.6 percent, and transportation services by 0.3 percent.
