Medianews.az reports that he spoke about this on "The Bridge" YouTube show:
"My parents simply nurtured a child's dream of becoming a great football player. Like all parents, they played a protective role for their child. My father is a football fan. At first, everyone thought my father managed everything. In fact, my father has never seen any of my contracts. Never. If he were involved in those matters, I would still be receiving my previous salary (laughs). He hasn’t looked at any contract; he doesn’t care about that. Yes, lawyers handle these matters. Over time, I have managed to gather competent people around me for these issues. My parents remain people I can get advice from on any subject. My mother is at the center of the events and takes all the blows on herself, but she never makes decisions without my consent. That’s exactly why when people call them the 'Mbappe clan' or 'agents,' it makes me laugh—they are not agents."
