A handwritten letter written during the childhood of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain will be auctioned on February 27.
Medianews.az reports that bids for the letter are expected to rise up to 4,000 pounds sterling.
The letter is addressed to Beatrice Stillman, the former chief servant at the Queen’s Royal Lodge residence. The writing includes drawings related to dogs, horses, and small children. Elizabeth also asks questions about the condition of birds and aquarium fish. The letter mentions primroses she collected and wished to distribute among the workers of the Royal Lodge mansion.
It is reported that Princess Elizabeth wrote the letter between 1936 and 1940, approximately at the age of 10-12, while she was in Cornwall.
Justin Matthews, an employee of Hanson Auction House, stated that in his 27 years of international sales experience, he has never seen such an impressive exhibit.
