The Catholicos of all Armenians, Garegin II, answered a question on June 2 during a meeting with journalists about whether he would accept Nikol Pashinyan if he wanted to meet with him.
Medianews.az reports this, citing Armenian media. "We must understand the purpose of his visit. Anyone who has sinned must repent for the mistakes they have made," the Catholicos said. Garegin stated that only then would he be forgiven by the Almighty.
So far, Pashinyan's response to the Catholicos is not known.
