More than 82 percent of the quota for the Hajj pilgrimage has been completed.
Medianews.az reports that Vusal Jahangiri, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office and head of the Hajj electronic system, provided this information in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
V. Jahangiri noted that since the beginning of Ramadan, there has been an increase in activity in applications, and the acceptance process continues.
It was stated that citizens intending to perform Hajj are requested to come and register without delay.
Additionally, it was noted that regardless of whether the quota is full or not, the acceptance of documents will end on March 7, 2026.
Due to price increases observed in all countries, as well as the provision of new services by the relevant authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Caucasus Muslims Office has set the price of the pilgrimage package for one person for the 2026 Hajj season at 6,100 US dollars (10,370 manat).
The pilgrimage will be organized in a unified manner and will be carried out by air transport.
Required documents:
1) National passport (must be valid for at least 1 year);
2) Copy of the identity card;
3) Two color photographs measuring 5 cm × 5 cm on a white background (women in dark hijab);
4) Health certificate.
Let us remind that the acceptance of documents for those wishing to go on the Hajj pilgrimage started on October 22, 2025.
