Relatives of missing soldiers in Armenia have taken the initiative to establish direct contact with Azerbaijan, declaring their readiness to come to the Hakari River with a white flag.
Medianews.az, referring to Musavat.com, reports that Armenian media have published information on this matter.
Relatives of missing soldiers in Armenia gathered again today in front of the government building and stated that they have given the authorities one week to present concrete information about the fate of their loved ones.
The uncle of a missing soldier, Arsen Gukasyan, said that since the 1990s, individuals who have information about the burial places of Azerbaijanis have contacted their initiative group and can assist in creating a unified information database.
According to him, they are ready to come to the Hakari River with a white flag to conduct talks and to establish contact with Azerbaijanis holding the same status.
"We want to help each other to obtain information about our missing loved ones. We no longer hope in the government, Europe, the USA, or Russia. All our hope is in ourselves. We must use every possible means," Gukasyan said.
