On July 21, the price of a barrel of Azerbaijani oil under the "AzeriLight" brand rose to $93.91.
Medianews.az reports that this is $18.57 higher than at the beginning of the month and $28.91 above the budget price.
The oil market has been fluctuating since February 28 due to tensions around Iran.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, a barrel of oil was assumed at $65. "AzeriLight" started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, March at $79.60, April at $132.35, May at $122.26, June at $104.58, and July at $75.34.
The international coalition of exporters has set Azerbaijan’s daily crude oil production quota at 551 thousand barrels.
In the first half of 2026, Azerbaijan produced 13.3 million tons of oil including condensate, and exported crude oil and crude oil products worth $6.2 billion abroad.
