A colonel has passed away in Azerbaijan.
Medianews.az reports that Latif Allahqulu oglu Guliyev, a reserve officer of the Azerbaijani army and colonel, has died.
Latif Guliyev was born on September 10, 1948, in the village of Kolluqishlaq in the Zangilan district. He graduated from the former Azerbaijan Industrial Institute, later studied at the Timoshenko Higher Military School of Chemical Protection, and rose to the rank of colonel. He served in the Soviet Armed Forces from 1973 to 1992, and in the Azerbaijani Army from 1992 to 2005. In the last years of his life, he worked as the head of the department at the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Higher Oil School.
