The Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline received initial information about 4 people drowning in the sea, 3 km away from the nearest rescue station in Mardakan settlement, Khazar district, Baku city, in an uncontrolled area.
Medianews.az reports that divers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Small Vessels Control and Water Rescue State Service were immediately deployed in response to the information.
Currently, divers-rescuers are conducting searches in the directions where the citizens are presumed to have drowned.
