Medianews.az reports that the children's 26-year-old father confessed to guilt in connection with the fatal incident.
According to the information, he took the gun out from his belt and placed it on top of the fireplace at home, then moved to another room. The tragedy occurred at that time.
It was not possible to save the severely injured infant's life. In his statement to the police, the man said he knew his daughter was interested in the gun and should not have left her unsupervised.
During the incident, the children's mother was not at home. The court verdict is expected to be announced on July 9.
