One person died and another was injured as a result of an explosion and subsequent fire at a vinegar production factory in the Eksamilia district of Corinth, Greece.
According to information provided by "Proto Thema," there were five workers and one driver at the scene.
A large fire broke out following the explosion, destroying the industrial facility's equipment.
"It has been determined that a 25-year-old man died in the incident, and a woman was injured. She was taken to the Corinth city hospital," the report states.
The operational center of the fire service mobilized 35 personnel, volunteers, and 11 vehicles to extinguish the fire caused by the explosion. The fire has now been fully extinguished.
Preliminary information suggests that the explosion may have occurred in one of the vinegar tanks during welding work.//report
