A resident of Jalilabad who was injured in a river in Masalli has died in the hospital.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred a few days ago in a river located in the Masalli district.
Specifically, Quliyev Qoshgun Shakir oglu, born in 2003 and a resident of the city of Goytepe in the Jalilabad district, sustained a serious neck injury while diving into the river to swim.
He was treated for 10 days in one of the capital's hospitals but died today at the medical facility.
An investigation is underway concerning the incident.
