In the first half of this year, a total of 43,700 foreigners and stateless persons were deported from Russia to 59 countries.
This information was reported by the "Vedomosti" newspaper citing the press service of the Federal Bailiffs Service (FSSP).
The indicator increased by 65.5 percent compared to the same period last year. In fact, from January to June 2025, 26,400 foreigners were deported from Russia.
On July 24, the Federation Council of Russia approved a law expanding the list of administrative offenses that could result in the deportation of foreigners from the country. According to the new law, the number of such offenses has been increased from 22 to 45.
These violations include public order disturbances, failure to comply with the lawful demands of border guards, cases of discrimination, as well as the dissemination of information that degrades human dignity on the internet.
