Renowned Turkish actor Kenan İmirzalıoğlu returns to the screen with a new series after seven years.
According to "Qafqazinfo," the 51-year-old artist will be one of the main characters in the new series A.B.İ (Ailə Bir İmtahandır) premiering on ATV.
In the first released trailer of the series, İmirzalıoğlu will portray the character Doğan Hancıoğlu, who returns to his family after years and must confront a past filled with mistakes. The main storyline of A.B.İ focuses on family relationships, conscience, and a person's reckoning with their own past.
Kenan İmirzalıoğlu's counterpart in the series is Afra Saraçoğlu. Previously famous for "Yalı Çapkını," Afra will play the role of lawyer Çağla Öncü in this series.
The only concern regarding the series, which has generated great interest with its first announcement, is the 23-year age difference between Kenan and Afra. Some viewers believe that the 51 and 28-year-old couple will not be compatible.
Reactions to the first footage suggest that A.B.İ, which will start airing soon, could be a serious competitor to series such as "Uzak Şehir" and "Eşref Rüya," which have ranked at the top of ratings for two seasons.
It should be noted that Kenan İmirzalıoğlu last appeared in the series "Mehmed: Bir Cihan Fatihi" in 2018. Previously, he played leading roles in "Deli Yürek," "Acı Hayat," "Karadayı," and most importantly, "Ezel," considered one of Turkey's best two series.
