Today, in the Binə settlement of the Khazar district of Baku, bus number 160 collided with another "Hyundai" bus. As a result, 22 people were immediately hospitalized. Since the condition of 12 people was considered satisfactory, they were discharged home for outpatient treatment, while the treatment of the other individuals continues. One of them was placed in intensive care.
Medianews.az reports that this is not the first serious accident involving the bus operating on route number 160.
Passenger buses operating on this route have had several accidents so far.

The number 160 bus collided with a moving train in the Binə settlement. As a result, 2 people died, and 40 passengers suffered various degrees of bodily injuries. Five of the injured were minors.

The number 160 bus caught fire in the Binə settlement. According to information, the fire was caused by a malfunction in the engine. No one was injured during the incident, but the bus was rendered unusable.
It should be recalled that bus number 160 serves passengers between the "Koroğlu" Transport Exchange Center near the "Koroğlu" metro station and the Sovkhoz residential area of the Binə settlement. When the bus departs from the "Koroğlu" Transport Exchange Center, it proceeds along Heydar Aliyev Avenue, passes by Sabunçu circle, Baku Expo Center, and the National Aviation Academy, and then enters the Binə settlement. Within the settlement, it mainly moves along the central Ali Isazade street, Binə railway station, and Binə Sovkhoz area. On the return trip, it travels the same route in the opposite direction.
