“We have many family friends in Ganja. I never imagined that I would ever come and work here. I love Ganja as much as Baku. These friendships also help me in my work. As a family, we always used to come and go to Ganja. Recently, Ms. Brilliant came to Ganja. She visited the theater as a guest, and we also went to the museum. Our theater expert Anar Bürcəliyev told Ms. Brilliant about the history of the theater and presented her with his book. Ms. Brilliant really liked the grand pianos in our theater’s foyer. We have two grand pianos. Ms. Brilliant played on both and checked their tuning.”

He then spoke about the support of People's Artist and his wife, Brilliant Dadashova: “When Ms. Brilliant came to our theater, rehearsals of the play ‘Zəhri-mar’ were underway on stage.
Her first question was: what kind of name have you given to this play?! Then, when it was explained why this title was chosen, she said, ‘You have given the play a fitting name.’ But initially, she was a bit upset asking what kind of name had been chosen for the play? (laughs).
This stage work is dedicated to the fight against drug addiction. I always feel Ms. Brilliant’s support. She has never interfered in my work. She always says that outsiders can say a thousand words, but you are the one who is involved. You know better,” he said.
Ədalət Hacıyev also spoke about Brilliant Dadashova’s attachment to the theater: “You know that Ms. Brilliant’s family has had close ties with the theater. Her uncles Malik Dadashov, Salman Dadashov, and cousin Rafael Dadashov were among the most respected artists of the theater.
Ms. Brilliant’s love for the theater comes from her family. She also understands well the difficulties of the theater. By the way, before Ms. Brilliant ever went on stage, her recordings were played in performances at the Shaki State Drama Theater.
They had never seen her face, but they heard her voice. People used to say, “If only we could see this girl’s face once.” We heard Brilliant’s voice first, and then saw her face. To be honest, I first heard her voice on the radio. When she told me on the phone, ‘My name is Brilliant,’ I laughed. I said, ‘Brilliant, the one singing on the radio?’ We first met in front of the Bulbul school,” he said.
