In order to attract foreign producers to film production in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the expenses incurred for the production of films will be partially reimbursed.
According to Medianews.az, this is reflected in the amendment to the “On Cinematography” law approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the amendment, the partial reimbursement of expenses incurred for the production of foreign and co-produced films will be carried out under the conditions determined by the body (institution) designated by the relevant executive authority.
In addition, incentive measures to attract foreign producers to film production in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be added to the list of main forms of state support for cinematography.
