Interviews have started today, June 8, with candidates who meet the participation requirements of the State Program and successfully submitted their documents in the first stage.

It was reported that the document submission phase for the 2026-2027 academic year within the framework of the “State Program for the Education of Youth Abroad at Reputable Higher Education Institutions for the years 2022–2028” has been completed for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.
It was noted that during the document submission period from April 15 to June 5, 1221 candidates applied within the State Program to 106 higher education institutions in 21 countries around the world for studying abroad. Among the applicants, 271 received admission from higher education institutions ranked in the top 10 in world ranking tables ("Times Higher Education," "QS World University Rankings," “Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai)”).
It should be noted that information regarding the interview stage will be provided through the candidates' personal accounts on the portal.edu.az platform.
Following President Ilham Aliyev's Decree No. 248 dated August 12, 2024, the quota for admission to the State Program has been set to up to 500 people annually. No more than 25 percent of the quota covers the bachelor's level, no more than 20 percent covers the doctoral level, and the remaining part covers the master's level.
