According to the global "Wealth Report," the number of very wealthy people in Turkey has increased from 2,174 to 4,208 in the last five years.
"Very wealthy people" in the "Wealth Report" refers to those whose wealth exceeds 30 million dollars.
Those with wealth above 10 million dollars are considered wealthy, while those up to 10 million dollars are regarded as high-net-worth individuals.
According to the report, there are currently 35 billionaires in Turkey, meaning dollar billionaires, based on their wealth calculated in dollars. Their total wealth is approximately 80 billion dollars.

Economist expert İlham Şaban, who presented the report to Medianews.az, also stated that according to the latest information from "Forbes" magazine, Turkey's richest person remains Murad Ülkər. Murad Ülkər, a member of the board of directors of the company "Yıldız Holding," is estimated to have a wealth of 5.2 billion dollars.
The second place is held by Cəmil Qazançı – the head of the company "Aksa Enerji," with a wealth of 4.9 billion dollars.
The third place goes to Ərman İlıcaq – founder of the company "Rönesans Holding," with a wealth of 3.7 billion dollars.
