Donald Trump has responded to questions regarding the appearance of the name Jeffrey Epstein in documents related to the case.
According to Medianews.az, D. Trump answered journalists' questions while returning to Washington from Florida.
He stated that he has nothing to hide and has had no connection with Epstein: “I have been completely exonerated,” he emphasized.
Epstein was arrested in 2019 on charges of sexual abuse and human trafficking involving minors, and was later found dead in prison. The release of part of the case documents has reignited political discussions in the US.
According to information, Trump and Epstein were seen together at some public events in the 1990s and early 2000s. Trump had previously stated that he ended his relations with Epstein years ago.
It is noted that although some famous individuals’ names appear in the documents, this does not automatically imply criminal charges.
