In France, a law banning social media for children under 15 years old will come into effect at the beginning of the new school year in September.
Medianews.az reports that French President Emmanuel Macron announced this on his "X" account.
"I made a promise and now the law has been passed: from the beginning of the school year, social media will be banned for children under 15 years old. I thank the members of Parliament. Now the issue will fall to the Constitutional Council, and afterwards to the concrete measures to be taken to implement this initiative and protect our children online," he wrote.
