In January-May 2026, the average monthly nominal wage of paid employees in the country increased by 7.3 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2025, amounting to 1175.0 manat.
Demokrat.az reports that the State Statistics Committee has released this information.
It was stated that the wage in the oil and gas sector was 4605.7 manat, and in the non-oil and gas sector it was 1113.3 manat.
"The wages of employees working in state institutions were 1160.9 manat, and in private enterprises 1188.7 manat," the report says.
