US President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky during the NATO summit to be held in Ankara on July 8.
This was noted in the US leader's schedule released by the White House press service on July 5.
The head of the Washington administration will arrive in Ankara on July 7 and meet with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. On July 8, Trump will hold closed bilateral meetings for journalists with Zelensky (at 15:30 Baku time) and Syrian President Ahmad al-Shaar (at 16:30 Baku time).
At 17:15 Baku time, the head of the Washington administration will speak at a press conference. After that, he will return to the United States.
According to information provided on Sunday by the "Reuters" agency citing a senior US official, Trump intends to discuss ways to resolve the Ukraine conflict with Zelensky.
