US President Donald Trump has appointed former US Attorney General Pam Bondi to the White House artificial intelligence (AI) advisory board.
Medianews.az reports that the board also includes several heads of major companies such as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
According to the portal, Bondi will be responsible for coordinating between the board's business representatives and the US government.
At the beginning of April, Trump announced that Bondi had resigned as US Attorney General. The American leader later noted that she "will move on to an important and demanded job in the private sector to be announced later."
According to media reports, the main reason for Bondi's resignation was her dissatisfaction with Trump's handling of the release of documents related to financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of child abuse. /Musavat.com
