The "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (TITR, Middle Corridor) Association has confirmed Nurgul Jakupova as the Secretary-General.
According to Medianews.az, citing "Report," she previously served as the acting Secretary-General.
Recall that the previous Secretary-General of the organization, Gaydar Abdikerimov, resigned in April 2025.
According to the TITR charter, the Secretary-General is elected for a term of three years.
The TITR International Association was established in 2017. The association, headquartered in Astana, aims to coordinate the interaction of all participants in cargo transportation along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
Currently, the Board of Directors of the TITR Association includes Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC; Talgat Aldibergenov, Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy SC; Lasha Abashidze, General Director of Georgian Railways SC; Dauren Kutpanbayev, acting Chairman of the Board of Aktau Sea Trade Port SC; Afghan Jalilov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping CJSC; Eldar Salahov, Director of Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC; Ufuk Yalçın, General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. SC; and Aleksandr Pertsovski, Chairman of the Board of Ukraine Railways SC ("Ukrzaliznytsia" SC).
TITR or Middle Corridor is an international transport corridor connecting China and European countries through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The Association provides necessary informational support, contributes to the simplification of administrative procedures, the creation of a competitive environment, and ensures maximum efficiency for participants from various countries, including those not geographically located directly along the Middle Corridor.
