A change is proposed to the Law "On Road Traffic" regarding informative-guide signs.
This issue was discussed at today's meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.
According to the current legislation, informative signs are rectangular in shape and are intended to indicate the features of the road condition, the names of settlements, their passage rules, and the movement regime determination in certain areas of streets and roads to drivers and other traffic participants.
This group of signs has different backgrounds. A green background means a highway, a blue background means all other roads.
The project proposes that the blue background represent both highways and all vehicle roads./ajans.az
