Sara Azimova, the editor-in-chief of the "Sharq Qapisi" newspaper of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, has been relieved of her duties.
Medianews.az, referring to APA, reports that a decree in this regard was signed by Bakhtiyar Mammadov, the first deputy chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to the information, Sara Azimova will continue her activities in the field of media from now on.
It should be noted that Sara Azimova was awarded the "Progress" medal by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan in 2015. In 2025, she was also honored with the title of "Honored Journalist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic."
She has been a member of the Board of the Press Council in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and a member of the Television and Radio Council in the Autonomous Republic.
