Manchester City's head coach Pep Guardiola highly praised Phil Foden's performance in the derby against Manchester United.
Publika.az reports that he compared the English footballer to an animal:
"Last season, we did not get such a performance from Phil. I love players who can deliver passes so well. Foden can pass the ball and freeze in place, just watching to see if the ball reaches its destination. Otherwise, Phil will throw himself into the opponent's penalty area like an animal because he wants to score goals.
When things don't work out, he gets frustrated. I hope this season, injuries won't bother Foden often, and he can show himself from a better side."
It should be noted that the English footballer opened the scoring in the Premier League's fourth round match, which ended with City's 3-0 victory.
