Protest from "Gabala" to the Referees Committee - VIDEO

The day before yesterday, in the 20th round of the Misli Premier League, "Gabala," which lost 0:1 to "Sabah," protested the match referee Rauf Jabbarov's decision to annul the goal scored in the 87th minute.

"Qafqazinfo" reports that a post was made regarding this on the club's social media account.

The post emphasized that referees had previously made decisions against "Gabala": "In the 87th minute of the "Gabala" – "Sabah" match, although the ball touched the hands of two players of the "Sabah" team in the penalty area, after the VAR reviewed the episode for nearly 10 minutes (!), the main referee was invited to the monitor. We believe that the goal scored by "Gabala" within the rules was not counted, and our team was deprived of at least 1 point. This was the second such incident this season.

Before this, in the 8th round match of the Misli Premier League, "Imishli" – "Gabala" (2:2), the main referee Inqilab Mammadov did not show a second yellow card for handball to Ronaldo de Souza in the 59th minute when the score was 2:0 in favor of our team. Later, Ronaldo de Souza became the author of one of the opposing team's goals. The AFFA Referees Committee admitted that the main referee made a mistake. This means that "Gabala" was deprived of 3 points this season.

As for Rauf Jabbarov, in the 17th round "Sabah" – "Karvan Yevlakh" match, although the ball touched the hand of an attacking player in front of him, he signaled to continue. Later, the goal scored by another player in the attack was counted. A similar episode occurred, with the difference being that this time Rauf Jabbarov did not record "Gabala’s" goal.
We hope that the AFFA Referees Committee will give an objective evaluation to the matter."
