According to the report of the State Statistics Committee, in January-June, consumer prices in Azerbaijan increased by 5.7 percent compared to the first half of 2025, food products, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products increased by 6.7 percent, non-food products by 3.8 percent, and paid services by 5.7 percent.

Medianews.az reports that in 1992 prices in Azerbaijan increased 10.1 times, in 1993 by 12.3 times, in 1994 by 17.6 times, in 1995 by 5.1 times, in 1996 there was 19.9 percent inflation, and in 1997 there was 3.7 percent inflation.

1998 ended with 0.8 percent deflation, and 1999 with 8.5 percent deflation.
